This Privacy Policy explains how A+ Appliances and More ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and reserve items or book an appointment.
Information we collect
- Contact & order details you provide: name, phone number, email, optional address, the items you reserve, and any message you send through the appointment form.
- Technical data automatically logged by our servers for security and reliability, such as request times and a one-way hashed form of your IP address.
- Local storage in your browser to keep your shopping cart between visits. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Aggregate site activity, such as daily counts of page views, product views, cart additions, call clicks, and completed reservations. These counts do not contain visitor IDs, IP addresses, search terms, or raw event details, and collection is disabled when your browser sends a Do Not Track preference.
How we use your information
- To hold reservations and prepare items for pickup.
- To schedule and confirm appointments and respond to your inquiries.
- To keep inventory accurate across our website and eBay listings.
- To protect against fraud and abuse and to operate the site.
- To understand, in aggregate, which parts of the storefront are useful and where customers abandon the reservation process.
Payments
We do not collect or store credit card information on this website. Reservations are paid in person at pickup. Purchases made through our eBay listings are processed by eBay under eBay's own terms and privacy policy.
Service providers we share with
We share limited information only as needed to run the business — for example, our hosting provider (Railway, Cloudflare), our email provider (used to send reservation and appointment confirmations), and eBay (for cross-listed inventory). We do not sell your personal information. Direction links open Google Maps only when you choose them; the site does not embed a Google map or load advertising trackers.
Data retention & security
We keep reservation and appointment records only as long as needed for our business and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Aggregate analytics rows are retained for about 13 months. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no system is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
